This policy explains how Capital Nutrition Inc. ("we"), which operates the Slim Syrups websites slimsyrups.ca and slimsyrups.com, collects, uses and protects personal information.

What we collect

• Order and account information: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, order history.
• Payment information: card payments are processed by our payment provider, Authorize.Net. We do not store card numbers.
• Messages you send us through our forms or by email.
• Website usage information collected with cookies and similar technologies (see below), with your consent where required.

Why we use it

• To process and ship orders, provide customer service and handle returns.
• To send promotional emails, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.
• To measure and improve the website, with your consent.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies keep your cart and session working. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics (website statistics), Klaviyo (email marketing and sign-up forms) and PostHog (website usage analytics). You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the store: payment processing (Authorize.Net), shipping (ClickShip and the carriers that deliver your order), email marketing (Klaviyo), analytics (Google, PostHog), and website hosting and security (Cloudflare). Some of these providers store information outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States. Before transferring information, we assess whether it will be adequately protected.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Order and accounting records are kept for the period required by tax law (generally six years). Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics information is kept for the period set in each tool and deleted afterwards.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), payment processing by a specialized provider, and access limited to the people who need it.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw your consent, or ask questions about this policy by writing to [email protected] (subject: Privacy). We reply within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
